and we are left with a few clouds this morning but you see the cloud deck surging up from the south. let me show you what i am talking about. we have the moisture poised to move in here possibly as we go into tomorrow and also wednesday. it looks like the low could track off towards the west. with that we won't get in a whole bunch of rain but wet weather could be moving in here as late as this evening. and that will continue into tomorrow morning as well. so, right now, we can see the moisture levels are on the dry side. we are looking at the 40s, 49 in baltimore and 41 in york. very dry air working through today. but then as we go into tomorrow, you saw all the moisture that's a tropical air mass and we will be humid as we go into tomorrow as well. let's go back to charley. moms and dads when you hit the roads a new law may change the way your child rides in the car. this morning, abc2 news linda so is live in federal hill and we understand that this new law has to do with child safety seats. >> reporter: yeah, and if you have one in your back seat it will affect you.

news time 4:42. we are looking at stories making national headlines. the search is on in tennessee for two children who were thought to have died in a house fire. police are searching for 9-year- old chloe and her 7-year-old brother gage daniel. investigators thought they died in a house fire that killed their grandparents but after searching the croon they found no evidence of the children being in the home at the time of the fire. they have issued an amber alert for both children.

every parent who hears this will ask themselves how could a mother do this. she told police someone had taken her 3 week old baby. after 12 hours of searching they found the baby girl unharmed in a roadside ditch. she is accused of dumping the child. the 19-year-old is due in court on child endangerment charges. where roads are looking like rivers as the result of heavy rains from the weekened. in abilene they barricade roads and crews rescued several cars. official say the flooding is to blame for one death in the state. and they say the victim was killed after the vehicle she was in was swept off the road. time for a check of the roads and traffic here locally. you wouldn't want to deal with that from the storms if it happened here. >> whenever there's flooding like that it's extremely dangerous. never ever drive in that>> that's right. >> it could be debtedly. >> -- led i -- deadly. >> we have fog out there. >> we have dense fog frederick

and westward. carroll and baltimore county has fog. and we will talk about the cool temperatures this morning. it's chilly out there. look at the 47 in baltimore right now. we are at 47 in chestertown and annapolis good morning to you, you are at 51. and 50 in bel air this morning and elkton at 48 and reisterstown at 52. frederick at 49 and rockville at 50. so you know this means, grab the jacket as you head out. you are going to need it. even as we go into the after moon it's not going to warm up that much. i will call it seasonable but there's a little kink thrown in my forecast this morning. let's show you what's going on here we are seeing more clouds moving in here and all this is courtesy of a system that's down to the south. with that, that can hold temperatures down going into the afternoon. if we get more sunshine, temperatures will bump up a bit. i will show you that in a second. but this is what's going on at the surface. big system down to the south and with this it will slide up

towards the north and the area of low pressure will stay to the west so with that we might not get a whole bunch of rain but we will get showers in here as we work our way into tonight also tomorrow. we will have the warm front that begins to push its way up through here overnight andtomorrow and the cold front will traverse the area by wednesday. we will feel cooler as we head no thursday. but right now we put the future trend on and this model is underdone. you are not seeing a bunch of rain. we are seeing monday evening a chance for showers work their way in here. but then as we go through the day on tuesday, no type of rain i don't agree with that. i believe we see rain going into tomorrow and possibly on wednesday. have the rain gear out in case. for today, the temperature is 72 degrees. but if we see more clouds, we might not get out of the 60s so we could be right around 69, 68. we will see how it interacts through the day. but for tonight most hi cloudy skies and the showers and temperatures coming in right

it's 10 minutes until 5 and we are check news around world. and a convicted terrorist and former guantanamo bay prisoner is in canada. during the weekend the 26-year- old was transferred from the u.s. military prison to a maximum security facility in ontario where he will completehis sentence. in 2010 he pleaded guilty to killing a u.s. soldier in afghanistan and spent two years at guantanamo bay and was eligible to return to canada last october. he was the youngest detainee and is eligible for parole in canada coming up next year. dozens of people are hurt and more than 100,000 are without power after a typhoon slammed through the japanese island. heavy rains and wind gusts paralyzed track for hours. train service and domestic flights were suspended. the storm is expected to dump 20 inches of rain on central
